I started yoga because I wanted to become stronger.
I had been a gym un-regular for many years. Never going consistently, so therefore never seeing any results, and getting frustrated. I wanted to find something that I could fall in love with and not get bored of. And that’s when I found Kai.
I started going once a week, which quickly turned in to twice a week, then three times a week and so on. To say I fell in love would be an understatement. I now practice five to six days a week. I started teacher training about three months after I started coming to Kai, because I finally felt a passion I had been searching for, for several years. I wanted to soak up everything that yoga could offer me.
Now, a year in to my journey, I can say, without doubt or hesitancy, I have become stronger. But it hasn’t been just physical. As Sonja will tell you, “yoga, unlike any other physical fitness activity, will change you mentally and spiritually if you are open to it.” I have become so strong in who I am and what I stand for, and I owe that largely to yoga. So if you want to grow and strengthen your body, mind and soul, I look forward to seeing you in my class.
