Studio Etiquette

  • Arrive early enough to set up your practice area, at least 10 minutes before a traditional class and 15 minutes before an aerial class.

  • Remove shoes before entering the studio area; shoes can be left in the front lobby. Cubbies are available in each studio for personal belongings.

  • Pre-registration for classes is preferred. Pre-registration for Aerial is a MUST. We cannot guarantee you a swing if you ‘drop-in’. Priority placement goes to those who have pre-registered first. Please contact us if you need assistance in this process.

  • Keep side conversations during class to a minimum. Side conversations are distracting for others as well as for the teacher.

  • Respect the teacher and your fellow students. Respect yourself.

  • Be aware that we may have classes starting or finishing when you arrive or are leaving. Be mindful of your voice level during conversations in the lobby.

  • Do NOT use cologne, perfume, or body sprays before coming to class.

  • If you are feeling unwell, please let your teacher know before leaving the room.

  • Neatly return all props to their spots.

  • During rest (savasana), please observe silence, avoid unnecessary movements, and refrain from using electronic devices.

  • PHONE POLICY Silence or turn off all electronic devices before storing them in the personal cubbies. We understand that extenuating circumstances do arise and you may need to keep your phone close to you during practice. If this is the case, please notify your teacher.
