WEEKLY: Tuesdays 6-7:15p ISH! Who hates a longer savasana?

STYLE: Hatha > Vinyasa

AUDIENCE: Beginner > Intermediate

This class is designed to identify and strengthen areas of weakness in your practice. Taught in a workshop style, we will focus on various parts of the practice that may be hindering your enjoyment of the practice of yoga.

Example: Breaking down transitions from Upward Facing Dog (Urdhva mukha śvānāsana) to Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Śvānāsana).

The last 30 minutes of the class us optional. At this time we have a conversation. We can discuss how yoga shows up in our daily lives; the history of yoga; the eight-limbs of yoga…and on and on!


SLOW FLOW

WEEKLY: Thursdays 10a

STYLE: Hatha > Vinyasa

AUDIENCE: Beginner > Intermediate

A beginner friendly to intermediate class with a soothing combination of slow vinyasa (breath with movement) and stretching to release tension in the body and increase flexibility, then ending poses will typically be held for longer periods to focus on body sensation and awareness.


Stretch and Strengthen

WEEKLY: Wednesdays 6p

STYLE: Hatha > Vinyasa Yoga

AUDIENCE: Some experience >Intermediate

Focuses on balance, strength, flexibility, and breathing. Core and shoulder strength is highlighted. Light weights and other props may be used in class. Introduces more mentally and physically challenging postures as students progress.
