ASHTANGA ASSISTED PRACTICE
WEEKLY: Mondays 5-7p, Wednesdays 5-7p, and Saturdays 9:30-11:30a
STYLE: Ashtanga AUDIENCE: Beginner to Advanced
Ashtanga Assisted Practice provides you with individual instruction and guides you through the Ashtanga system. Arrive any time to begin your practice, making sure you can take a proper closing Savasana before the end of class time! Perfect practice to adapt not only to YOUR schedule, but more importantly, to adapt to YOUR level of ability.
Great for beginners as well as experienced practitioners.
ASHTANGA FOR THE LIFE SPAN
WEEKLY: Wednesdays 10-11:15a
STYLE: Ashtanga AUDIENCE: Beginner to YOUR level
Ashtanga for the Life Span makes the practice accessible to all ages and bodies. Are you new to yoga? Do you prefer a slower pace to an otherwise active practice? Unlike Hatha or Vinyasa, Ashtanga repeats the same sequence of poses. Eventually, you will memorize the sequence, but in the beginning, you do what you can! Learn to move with the breath, to strengthen the body, and calm the mind in a way that is just right for your body.
ASHTANGA LED PRIMARY SERIES
MONTHLY: First Sunday of every month 2-3:30p
AUDIENCE: At minimum, know Ashtanga Primary Series to Navasana
The Ashtanga Led Primary Series will familiarize students with coordinating their breath and movement to the Ashtanga “count.” The traditional Sanskrit will be utilized on occasion.
MOVE YOUR ASANA! (BEGINNING SEPT 3!)
WEEKLY: Tuesdays 6-7:15p
STYLE: Ashtanga AUDIENCE: Beyond Beginner to Intermediate
A briskly paced class designed to move you through the foundational postures of traditional yoga with a focus on strength building, development of flexibility, and attention to mindfulness. Taught in a warm room (78 degrees), Move Your Asana! will detox the body with a good old-fashioned sweat!
