ASHTANGA ASSISTED PRACTICE


Audience: New to Advanced

Ashtanga Assisted Practice is a group class where students are provided individual instruction to guide them through the Ashtanga System. Students can arrive and start their practice any time between the times posted, so this makes it a great practice for those with a changing schedule. Great for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. 

Mondays and Tuesdays 5-7pm, Saturdays 9:30-11:30am

Created for the student who has NO IDEA what to do! We'll work at your pace of moving and learning. The instructor will guide you through the six fundamental postures of the Ashtanga Beginner's Series.

INTRODUCTION TO ASHTANGA

STYLE: Ashtanga
AUDIENCE: Beginners / No Experience

Ashtanga is a yoga practice that can be adapted for all body types and abilities. This intimate, small-group class will provide you with direct teacher instruction on what to wear, what to expect in a Mysore-style class, and introduce you to the basic postures and breathing practices of Ashtanga Yoga. 

First Monday of the month: 7-8:30pm (Note: July offering will be 7/8)
