What is Hatha Yoga? At Kai Yoga Studio, our Hatha classes are great places to learn the fundamentals of yoga poses while dabbling just a bit in the other dimensions of yoga, like meditation and breathwork. All classes are beginner-appropriate and are taught by 200-RYT level teachers who can provide modifications in a teacher-led setting.

GENTLE HATHA

STYLE: Hatha
AUDIENCE: Beginners / No Experience

A gentle and beginner appropriate class based in the Hatha tradition of yoga. Attention to the breath, focused movement, and emphasis on intention are offered in this class. If getting up and down from the mat is a challenge, teachers can add a chair and other props to assist your practice.

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 10-11:15am and Thursdays 6:30-7:45pm

YOGA FUNDAMENTALS

STYLE: Hatha
AUDIENCE: Beginners / No Experience

Based in the Hatha yoga tradition, this all-levels appropriate class focuses on the basic principles of yoga, combining movement and breath to bring peace to the body and mind. Taught in a “workshop” style where students are given the opportunity to explore the different poses. This is a great class to start with if you are new to yoga!
