YIN YOGA

STYLE: Yin Yoga AUDIENCE: Beginners / No Experience

Yin Yoga is a slow–paced, mindful practice consisting of mostly seated postures held for three minutes or more. These static holds place a gentle tension on the connective tissues of the body. This subtle practice encourages lubrication of the joints for greater flexibility, increased range of motion, and better balance. The time spent in the posture gives one the opportunity to practice breath and meditative techniques, cultivates awareness and encourages a calming of the mind.
